High Carbon Ferromanganese (HC FeMn) – Cost‑Effective Alloying Solution for High‑Volume Steel Production
High Carbon Ferromanganese is a widely used ferroalloy containing 65–80% manganese and 6.0–8.0% carbon, produced in submerged arc furnaces using manganese ore, coke, and fluxes. It delivers efficient manganese addition, strong deoxidation capability, and sulfur‑fixing properties, making it an essential and economical alloying agent in carbon steel, low‑alloy steel, and certain stainless steel grades.
Produced through well‑controlled smelting and crushing processes, our HC FeMn offers consistent chemical composition, high manganese yield, uniform lump size, and excellent dissolution behavior. It contributes to improved steel strength, hardness, and hardenability, while helping to control sulfide inclusion morphology and enhance machinability.
We provide steel mills and foundries with multiple Mn‑C grade options, customizable sizing (lump, crushed, or screened), and reliable supply to support efficient EAF, BOF, and ladle alloying practices. Backed by technical expertise and responsive service, we are committed to being your trusted partner in achieving cost‑effective steel production, stable process performance, and consistent product quality.
