Rare Earth Silicon is a composite alloy that combines carefully selected rare‑earth elements (such as cerium, lanthanum, and yttrium) with silicon in precise ratios, typically containing 25‑40% rare earths and 35‑55% silicon. It serves as a high‑efficiency nodularizer for ductile iron production and a versatile purification & modification agent for specialty steels and alloys.

The alloy delivers superior graphite nodularization capability, strong desulfurization and deoxidation effects, and remarkable inclusion morphology control. It promotes the formation of fine, spherical graphite in cast iron, significantly enhancing tensile strength, elongation, impact toughness, and fatigue resistance. In steelmaking, it effectively modifies harmful inclusions, improves castability, and increases overall metallurgical yield.
